It's grilling season and we’ll take any excuse to fire up the grill. These juicy burgers are great for a weeknight dinner and are also a big hit at potlucks, BBQs and pool parties. We love anything stuffed with cheese and these burgers are no exception.
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 purple onion finely diced
- cheddar cheese sliced into square chunks
- hamburger buns
Fire up the grill to medium-high heat.
In a bowl, mix together beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, pepper and onion until evenly combined.
Split the mixture into 3 or 4 portions and make patties.
Flatten the beef into a thin layer and then place the chunk of cheddar inside, molding the beef around the cheese to form a patty.
Grill the burgers undisturbed for about 4-6 minutes per side so the outside is browned and the burger is cooked through.
Remove to a plate and let the burgers rest for a few minutes.
Place the patty on your buns and add your favorite toppings. (Pro Tip: top the patty with another slice of cheese for some extra delicious cheesiness.)
