Juicy Lucy Burgers

It's grilling season and we’ll take any excuse to fire up the grill. These juicy burgers are great for a weeknight dinner and are also a big hit at potlucks, BBQs and pool parties. We love anything stuffed with cheese and these burgers are no exception.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 purple onion finely diced
  • cheddar cheese sliced into square chunks
  • hamburger buns
Instructions
  1. Fire up the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a bowl, mix together beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, pepper and onion until evenly combined.

  3. Split the mixture into 3 or 4 portions and make patties.

  4. Flatten the beef into a thin layer and then place the chunk of cheddar inside, molding the beef around the cheese to form a patty.

  5. Grill the burgers undisturbed for about 4-6 minutes per side so the outside is browned and the burger is cooked through.

  6. Remove to a plate and let the burgers rest for a few minutes.

  7. Place the patty on your buns and add your favorite toppings. (Pro Tip: top the patty with another slice of cheese for some extra delicious cheesiness.)

  8. Enjoy!
