French Toast

Sure to be your family’s favorite weekend breakfast treat, this simple french toast recipe is everything you want for a classic piece for French toast.


  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 slices bread
  • butter, for cooking


  • In a shallow dish, beat egg, vanilla and cinnamon.
  • Add milk and mix again.
  • Dip bread in egg mixture and coat evenly, turning so both sides are covered.
  • In pan or skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Cook bread slices until browned on both sides.
  • Add toppings of choice.
  • Serve.
